What is your shipping policy?

All in-stock items are processed within 1-3 business days of an order being placed. We try to ship orders out as quickly as possible. Our Limited Edition Prints are printed and framed to order and as such, take up to 2 weeks to be delivered.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes we ship world-wide!

All international orders are shipped via Australia Post via standard post as per current Australia Post rates. For more information on our Shipping costs, see our Shipping policy.

What is your refund/exchange policy?

We hope our products will bring you joy but if for some reason you are dissatisfied with your order, please contact us at info@salsaverdedesign.com within 5 days of placing your order, quoting your order number. We will be happy to offer you a full refund or an exchange (with the exception of our limited edition prints*) where an item is available for any faulty item. However, we cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs during transit in the delivery process.

*Our Limited Edition Prints are made to order. We request that you measure your space and review your purchase carefully before placing your order. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or returns due to the handmade nature of our production processes. However, if your artwork arrives damaged or does not match your order, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your order in the mail.

What sustainable practices do you employ in your business?

At Salsa Verde, we believe in producing beautiful and functional every day items that bring joy whilst ensuring as minimal an impact on our environment. That’s why we made a decision early on to only produce in small batches (up to 50 units) or make to order.

Packaging

We use our custom designed Noissue tissue to wrap all of our products that ship from our studio. Noissue tissue is compostable, recycled and reusable and FSC certified, acid free and printed using soy inks.

Our tags and product wraps are designed by us and printed on 100% post-consumer recycled paper by Print Together.

All items shipped from our studio are either in a compostable Better Packaging Co. mailer or a heavy-duty biodegradable kraft mailer to encourage reuse or recycling.

Suppliers/Products

We believe in the fair treatment of all our suppliers It’s important to us that we only work with suppliers who employ ethical and transparent practices as well as provide a safe and fair working environment to their staff.

All of our textile products are made of natural fibres that soften and improve with every use. We aim to continue to use only natural fibres and are constantly looking to how we can improve our production and sourcing processes and reduce our footprint, whilst providing products that are accessible to the public.

I’d love to stock Salsa verde in my shop. do you have a wholesale catalogue?

Thank you for considering our products for your shop! We love working with boutique retailers, brick & mortar shops, online stores, museum shops and other small businesses. Please contact us at info@salsaverdedesign.com with the subject ‘Wholesale Enquiry’ and some information about you and your shop and we will get back to you with a link to our wholesale catalogue and terms and conditions if we determine that we’re a good match.

Do you offer your products on a consignment basis?

We generally prefer to focus our energies on building strong Wholesale partnerships. However, we are happy to review your terms and conditions. Please email us at info@salsaverdedesign.com and we will get back to you if we feel it’s a good fit for us.

do you license your products or do collaborations?

Yes, we have licensed our work for commercial use. We have also collaborated with a few businesses in the recent past. However, it depends on a number of factors including timing, the scope of work and whether the brand or business shares similar values and ethics to us. If you have a particular project in mind and think we might be a good fit for your brand, please email us at info@salsaverdedesign.com.

Where are your limited edition prints printed & framed?

We design all our prints and collections in our studio in Sydney by Diya. Our Limited Edition Prints are printed, framed and dispatched to you by our wonderful printing and framing suppliers in Melbourne. They are printed on museum-grade 300gsm 100% cotton rag and framed by hand using sustainably sourced Australian hardwood. Each artwork within our collection will come signed by Diya, along with a certificate of authenticity.

Where are your textiles (cushions, tea towels & tote bags) made?

We design all our prints and collections in our studio in Sydney. Our debut textile collection, titled ‘Indian Summer’ has been digitally printed and stitched in small batches by our wonderful manufacturing partners in New Delhi, India. We are proud to support the trade and livelihood of our suppliers and manufacturers both locally and overseas where we can.

Who designs all of Salsa Verde’s prints and artworks?

All of our prints and collections are designed by our resident artist and founder Diya. Diya is a graphic and textile designer as well as a mixed media artist and works with various handmade and digital techniques (including photography) to produce bold, colourful and striking print and pattern collections. Prints begin as individual elements which are hand-drawn or painted using watercolour, gouache or acrylic. They are then digitised and that’s when the fun begins! Elements are layered carefully, recoloured and juxtaposed until a new image is magically born. Artworks can take days or even weeks to produce.
